A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its result. Franklin County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own system.

An email sent to the site may be retained long enough to answer and administer the communication. It stays within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal duty.

Franklin County Criminal History does not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to the Franklin Clerk, Sheriff's Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure rules, so review those terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff, clerk, court, state-agency, legal-aid, or outside search pages. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read it before providing personal information.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
